Information according to Article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (GDPR)

"Newsletter" Service

According to Article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter also referred to as GDPR), EUD INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION C.L.C. (hereinafter also referred to as EUD) - with its registered office at 37th Floor, 1 Canada Square - Canada Square E14 5 AA London, England - United Kingdom - as the Data Controller, represented by its legal representative, hereby informs you that the processing of your personal data is solely for the purpose of providing the "Newsletter" service offered by EUD through the website www.eudfoundation.info

The processing will be carried out using manual or electronic or automated means, including computer or electronic tools, strictly related to the purposes listed below, and in a way that ensures the security and confidentiality of the data.

Sources of personal data

The personal data subject to processing, processed in compliance with the law and confidentiality obligations, are collected directly from the data subject and confirmed by the user during the registration phase.

Through the web portal www.eudfoundation.org, the user can:

Authenticate by providing their email address, username, and password.
Give consent.
Modify their personal data and any consents previously given.
Request to unsubscribe from the newsletter.
Access their reserved area.
Give consent to be contacted by phone and email.
Access forms.
Subscribe to the Foundation.

Purposes of the processing

The email address and personal data (name and surname) requested when completing the newsletter subscription request will be processed for the following purposes:

a) Sending the newsletter.
b) Sending promotional/commercial communications regarding the products and services of EUD INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION C.I.C. by email, provided you have given consent.

Legal basis and lawfulness of the processing

For the aforementioned purposes, the legal basis for the processing, which confirms its lawfulness, is consent (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a) of the GDPR).

Nature of the provision and consequences of refusal

If the data subject refuses to provide their personal data, it will be impossible to access the newsletter service as described in this information notice and to join our Foundation, EUD INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION C.I.C.

Please note that giving consent to receive any commercial information is optional. Your refusal will not prevent the provision of the requested newsletter service.

Categories of recipients of personal data

The data will be processed by internal processors, whose constantly updated list is available on the website www.eudfoundation.info

Personal data may be disclosed to other public and/or private entities solely based on a legal provision or regulation.

Your personal data will not be transferred or disclosed to third parties.

Retention period of personal data

Your data will be processed for 6 years from the collection of your specific consent, with regard to the newsletter service, without prejudice to your right to withdraw consent.

Regarding the marketing purpose, your data will be processed for 24 months from the collection of your consent, without prejudice to your right to withdraw consent.

Subsequently, the data will be archived until the expiration of the statutory limitation period with reference to individual rights enforceable by the parties.

Automated decision-making

For the purposes of the processing described above, no decisions based solely on automated processing, which produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you, will be made.

Rights of the data subject

In accordance with Articles 15-18 and 20-21 of the GDPR, you have the following rights as a data subject, which you can exercise against EUD:

The right to obtain confirmation from the Data Controller whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed, and if so, to access the personal data and the information provided in Article 15 of the GDPR. This includes information about the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data involved, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data has been or will be disclosed, the retention period, etc.
The right to rectify inaccurate personal data concerning you and to have incomplete data completed, considering the purposes of the processing (Article 16).
The right to erasure of data ("right to be forgotten") in the cases specified in Article 17.
The right to restrict processing in the cases provided for in Article 18.
The right to data portability in accordance with Article 20.
The right to object to processing under Article 21.
The right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal, solely for the purposes for which the legal basis is consent (Article 7).

In any case, you can exercise your rights as a data subject by sending a request via registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to EUD as the Data Controller, to the attention of the Data Protection Officer, at the following address: [address] or by email to the following email addresses: privacy@eudfoundation.org, using the appropriate form available on the website of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Please note that you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or another supervisory authority in accordance with Article 13, paragraph 2, letter d) of the GDPR.

Cookie Policy
